To work effectively, all Air Filters must be correctly supported within the airstream that they are intended to filter particulate and/or gaseous phase contaminants from. These supporting components of the air filtration system are generally recognized as:

1. Air Filter Housing Selection

The optimum required Air Filter Housing Size depends on several criteria including:

• Design Airflow Volume
• Manufacturer´s recommended air filter Airflow Capacity
• Ambient air environmental conditions such as:

  Humidity
  Corrosivity
• Air Filter Section access for maintenance
• Selected Air Filter quantities and sizes
• Air Filter product type(s) and their required frame configuration(s), examples include:
